Requirement: INDOPACOM Senior Advisor
Job Description: Forge requires a Senior Advisor to join a dynamic team supporting the INDOPACOM portfolio for a DoD client. Tasks include analysis, data collection, organizing collected data, creating performance monitoring plans, developing assessment tools, and providing actionable insights through structured reports, visualizations, and briefings. The Senior Advisor will work closely with government personnel and contractor analysts across the security cooperation community and will maintain records, update assessments over time, and facilitate transparent information sharing.
Key Responsibilities: Key responsibilities of the candidate will be (but aren't limited to):
- Supporting security assistance and foreign military sales requirements, including Congressional Notification (CN) and LOAs for SAMM & AECA Compliance:
- Examining Letters of Request (LORs) and Letters of Offer and Acceptance (LOAs) to ensure they adhere to the Security Assistance Management Manual (SAMM) and the Arms Export Control Act (AECA). This includes verifying accuracy, completeness, and alignment with applicable regulations
- Assisting with the planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting of training programs related to assigned programs.
- Fostering Interdepartmental Relationships; Performing research, analyzing data, pulling and analyzing reports from various data systems, reviewing Letters of Offer and Acceptance (LOAs), and training equipment lists.
- Provide timely and accurate responses to Requests for Information (RFIs) and other relevant correspondence from government personnel, program stakeholders, and external parties.
- Complete technical and weapons review and assessments; advising on technical matters related to weapons for programs of record, non-programs of record, and integration of weapons systems.
- Assisting with the planning and execution of meetings and conferences, including coordinating logistics, preparing materials, and managing participant communications.

We are looking for candidates with the following:
Minimum Qualifications: - US Citizen
- Bachelor's 4(four) year degree from an accredited institution in areas of Logistics or Defense Studies, or 10 years of in-depth experience in military tactics and logistics.
- Ten (10) years of work experience in the armed services, military operator or industry experience related to weapons system sales or weapons management, technology transfers, command and control and secure communications systems, joint interoperability, security cooperation, integrated air and missile defense and integration of military equipment and operational areas. Experience supporting DoD programs, international programs, and strategic initiatives.
- Ten (10) years of demonstrated experience in Military Weapon Warfare with a functional understanding of the policy process and Washington D.C. diplomatic and military organizations and culture, and the ability to interact with senior Government representatives.
- Five (5) years of consecutive experience preparing briefing papers and providing input on matters of technical content related to defense sales, weapons system management, weapons planning, or weapons development, design or engineering.
- Ability to complete regular and long-term TDYs (up to 2-months at a time) for program analysis and support in OCONUS locations.
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Ability to follow security protocols to protect sensitive data
- Active TOP SECRET Security Clearance.
- Preferred Qualifications: Five (5) years of Foreign Military Sales experience
