Overview

Lutron Electronics is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Indirect Tax Senior Analyst to join our global Tax Team at our Global Headquarters in Coopersburg, PA. This role is ideal for an individual who enjoys problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and learning how tax rules impact a global manufacturing business.

In this position, you will work closely with colleagues across Finance, Accounting, Operations, and external partners to help ensure Lutron and its partners remain compliant with a wide range of indirect tax requirements. You will gain hands-on exposure to global sales and use tax, property taxes audits, and month-end processes, while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the tax function.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting sales and use tax filings, including managing a compliance calendar
  • Assisting with global transactional tax matters
  • Learning month-end close procedures to reconcile tax accounts
  • Assisting with transactional tax audits by gathering, organizing, and reviewing requested documentation
  • Handling business license renewals and tax registrations
  • Serving as a point of contact for general tax-related questions from internal teams, vendors, and customers, providing timely and helpful responses
  • Participating in process improvement initiatives related to tax compliance, documentation, and data accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; preferred area of study in Accounting, Tax, Finance or Economics
  • Minimum cumulative 3.00 GPA required
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in transactional taxes required
  • Advanced Excel and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) preferred
  • Customer or Accounting services (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable) are a plus
  • Must be located within commutable distance of Coopersburg, PA to accommodate a 5-day in-office schedule
  • You are authorized to work in the U.S. and will not require Lutron to sponsor you for any work visa, such as an H-1B, either immediately or at any time in the future. Lutron does not offer work visa sponsorship for this position.
