Job Title: Implementation Engineer / Telecommunications Engineer - IIILocation(s): Aurora, COJob Summary:The Implementation Engineer is responsible for performing detailed engineering tasks specific to location-specific equipment. This role involves developing specifications for installation, ensuring proper configuration, and managing equipment inventory.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform detailed location-specific equipment engineering.
- Develop specifications for installation, turn-up, inventory, and configuration of equipment.
- Obtain management approvals and issue purchase orders for vendor delivery.
- Update organization's databases and related applications as an experienced Database Administrator (DBA).
- Build automated reports using Google Apps and Tableau.
- Create and modify Google Docs, customizing the user interface with new menus, dialog boxes, and sidebars.
- Manage, input, and update IFP, XNG, SPM to reflect new builds, adds, and decommissions.
- Document network elements with necessary identifiers and labels.
- Engineer floor space, rack space, and hardware for all equipment locations.
- Engineer placement and cable measurements, provide power/fuse/breaker assignments, and engineer equipment cooling and airflow.
- Create workflows in the required systems and communicate issues to lead engineers.
- Work with regions to resolve issues and recommend changes to the process for national impact.
Required Qualifications:- Proven experience in detailed equipment engineering and database administration.
- Proficiency in Google Apps, including Google Docs and forms, with the ability to build automated reports.
- Experience with Tableau for automated report building.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documenting network elements.
- Ability to communicate effectively with lead engineers and regional teams.
