About the Role:The
Implementation Consultant is responsible for the successful implementation of our most strategic clients and delivering Implementation as a Service, training, workshops, and education sessions during customer engagements. In addition to ensuring timely launch dates and high levels of customer satisfaction, this role will also take a leadership role in projects that bridge the divide between external stakeholders (the client), internal stakeholders (project team and other Spreedly business partners), and third-party providers. The person who fills this role will help us lead complex, multi-layered global implementations for Fortune 500 clients, acting as a strategic consultant to enable Spreedly's infrastructure in support of the client's long-term digital transformation goals. The ideal candidate for this role will have a clear understanding of how the technology works, how systems integrate, project management, and the payments industry.
Responsibilities:- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, and Account Management) to drive high-complexity implementations and meet aggressive enterprise go-live dates.
- Own the end-to-end delivery process for implementations after contract signature, utilizing standardized project management methodologies to ensure technical accuracy, timely go-lives, and long-term client success
- Work closely with the customer, sales engineering and account management to understand customer requirements and manage expectations
- Create comprehensive project plans, including critical milestones, dependencies, and aggressive enterprise go-live dates
- Develop and execute strategic communication plans and meeting agendas that align stakeholder objectives with project milestones, ensuring long-term relationship health and project success.
- Maintain regular correspondence with project stakeholders to facilitate on-going status updates, relationship management & proactive technical/functional guidance
- Communicate relevant client feedback to Spreedly product management, engineering, operations, sales and marketing functions
- Deliver regular reporting regarding implementation metrics across all onboarding channels
Requirements:- 3+ years of customer-facing implementation project management experience, including experience working with large enterprise clients on technology-driven onboarding/implementation
- Experience in the payments industry and/or working with payments technologies is a must
- Strong fundamental understanding of APIs, SDKs, and how complex systems integrate
- Ability to think and plan strategically, along with the initiative to execute tactically
- Expert level of organization and attention to detail as well as strong interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to understand and translate complex technical detail across all project stakeholders with clarity
- Strong customer service skills and commitment to meet or exceed customer expectations
- Ability to travel as needed and required by the client and/or business (up to 10%)
