FTE: 1.0, Shift: Day, Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm, Some weekends & evenings

Position Summary
The Supervisor Imaging Services is responsible for the supervision and coordination of the day-to-day operations of the technical and clerical staff within assigned areas of responsibility in Imaging Services to assure that patient care needs are met in accordance with physician orders, established policies and procedures in an environment that facilitates optimal, cost efficient patient care delivery. This is a supervisory position providing direct supervision to technical and non-technical staff. This position defines and monitors the day-to-day operations of assigned areas, ensures that availability and appropriate utilization of needed human and material resources; supports collaboration between the technical and clerical staff, nursing, physicians, and other disciplines to achieve desired patient outcomes. Work situations are varied and require technical expertise, prioritization, the use of discretion, good judgment problem solving, independent decision-making, and strong leadership skills. Major decisions are subject to the review and approval of the Director of Imaging Services. Internal contacts include staff and management throughout the medical center. External contacts include patients, families, physicians, and peers.

Requirements

  • Graduated from an accredited program in clinical imaging (EG: Ultrasound, X-ray, CT, Nuclear Medicine, etc)
  • Certification in Imaging Specialty (EG: ARDMS, ARRT, CNMT, etc)
  • State of Washington Department of Health Radiology Tech License if relevant to certification or within 90 days of hire
  • Minimum three (3) of years experience in a clinical imaging domain
  • Experience and demonstrated skills in a supervisory or lead capacity; as lead tech or imag supv preferred

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $91,416.00 - $131,518.40 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
