Client is looking for an Image Processing/Computer Vision Specialist supporting customers located at the customer site at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. The successful candidate will participate in exciting projects and missions as an Image Processing/Computer Vision Specialist.

The ideal candidate will: Specialize in computer vision or image processing with a background in object detection and tracking Adapt existing algorithms or develop Client ones for object detection and tracking on challenging datasets of overhead imagery with an emphasis on utilization of large data volumes Formulate and implement these Client capabilities to the level of internally transferable engineering code in Matlab, Python or C/C++ Analyze and report on performance of Client techniques against designated datasets Have understanding and application of standard software engineering principles, especially with respect to unit and regression testing. Willingness and desire to understand and application of standard software engineering principles, especially with respect to unit and regression testing

Required Skills:
Experience in object detection and tracking
Experience and knowledge in the mathematical principles related to image chain modeling
Experience in scientific application development and science data processing algorithms
Proficiency in MATLAB and Python
Strong background in C++

The selected candidate will be required to work in Pasadena, CA

Required Education:
Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience. Master's degree in STEM plus 6 years of related experience.
