The program will simplify the Pharm ERP landscape from 7 to 1, standardizing processes in order to have a cost effective, fit for purpose digital backbone that will enable us to support the Pharm business with agility. Additionally, the program will remediate the end-of-life system exposure that we risk towards the end of this decade.

The IM IT Compliance Senior Manager, (IM TRANSCEND) is accountable for defining and driving the end-to-end IT and compliance strategy for the IM TRANSCEND program, a multi-year, multi-release SAP S/4HANA transformation across the Innovative Medicines supply chain.

Acting as the senior IT compliance partner to program, the role shapes compliance requirements early in design and solution discussions to influence architecture, control design, and delivery outcomes.

The role ensures strong alignment between IT and Finance compliance perspectives, coordinating closely with ICFR compliance leadership to maintain a holistic, end-to-end control framework.

  • Ensure effective coordination and alignment with ISRM, User Access Management, and IT Security teams on access governance, segregation of duties, and identity-related risks.
  • Oversee and guide the design principles for SAP configurations, interfaces, WRICEF objects, workflows, and system-enabled controls from an IT compliance perspective
  • Ensure that ITGC and ICFR risks are assessed holistically, with clear ownership, traceability, and mitigation across integrated business processes and technologies.
  • Provide direction and oversight to program IT compliance managers and resources, ensuring effective execution of risk assessments, control design, testing strategies, and remediation activities.
  • Partner closely with the Senior Manager / leadership responsible for ICFR compliance to ensure a cohesive and non-duplicative compliance approach across the program
  • Define expectations for UAT, IT SOX testing, and control validation strategies at the program level, ensuring alignment with audit and regulatory expectations.
  • Serve as the senior point of escalation and engagement for Internal and External Audit on ITGC, technology, and IT compliance topics for IM TRANSCEND.
  • Monitor program-level compliance risks, trends, and dependencies, proactively identifying systemic issues and driving resolution to protect program outcomes and audit readiness.
