Overview

How you can make a difference

Join our team as an IAM Engineer and lead our next-generation detection, prevention, and automation strategies and models for enhanced identity, access management, governance, program management, and reporting capabilities. This is a game-changing role driving innovation with AI to proactively identify access patterns and mitigate policy violations and non-standard configurations before it impacts our organization.

You will innovate with AI by leading the development of advanced tools that summarize complex issues and recommend remediation plans, while continuously refining automated and manual administration while reducing the need for human intervention. You will build and deploy cutting-edge AI agents using platforms like Azure and Langchain, creating intelligent systems that can autonomously detect anomalous activities.

This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate and lead cross-functional efforts with internal business and technical application owners, various lines of business within the organization, and governance and compliance teams by constantly evolving and maturing identity and access processes with the use of AI.

What you’ll be doing

  • Manage, configure, and optimize IAM solutions, including SailPoint Identity Security Cloud, Entra ID, and related identity governance tools to support secure and efficient access across enterprise systems.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve automation for IAM processes, including access provisioning, compliance reporting, role management, entitlement review, and routine administrative workflows.
  • Utilize and help develop AI-enabled capabilities to simplify IAM administration, support adaptive access decisions, identify anomalies or access risks, summarize access-related issues, and recommend remediation steps.
  • Build AI solutions that enhance IAM access administration, governance, hygiene, and program management functions. Utilize tools like Anthropic Claude, Copilot on Azure, and Langchain to create intelligent systems that can detect anomalous activities in a fully autonomous or semi-supervised fashion.
  • Lead the development of retrieval-augmented LLM tools to answer analyst requestor queries, auto-summarize issues information, and recommend next steps for access requests and/or access remediation. Continuously refine prompts and retrieval strategies for high precision in IAM and governance context.
  • Collaborate with the AI COE and AI Engineering team for best practices, technology, and AI support needs.
  • Use IAM data, reporting tools, and analytical methods to identify access trends, support KPIs and KRIs, improve access hygiene, and provide actionable insights for IAM and compliance stakeholders.
  • Utilize large datasets to develop access models and generate actionable insights. Focus on building AI agents without the need for deep expertise in based AI models
  • Support the development and refinement of rules, queries, reports, and AI-assisted methods that help detect non-standard access, policy violations, privileged access risks, or unusual access patterns.
  • Support provisioning, de-provisioning, access changes, and access review processes to ensure users, applications, and systems have appropriate access based on business need, role, and policy requirements.
  • Support IAM governance activities to help ensure alignment with internal policies, security standards, and regulatory frameworks such as HIPAA, SOX, SOC2, PCI-DSS, and related requirements.
  • Partner with Security, IT, application owners, business stakeholders, internal audit, and compliance teams to support consistent access management, policy enforcement, and process improvement.
  • Contribute to the ongoing maturity of IAM processes, tools, documentation, and controls by identifying opportunities to reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, and strengthen security outcomes.
