Identity & Access Management (IAM) Analyst

The IAM Analyst is a key member of the Global IAM functional team within the Global Information Security Office and supports the implementation of global identity governance, access control practices, and privileged access management initiatives. In this role, the analyst contributes to identity lifecycle and governance activities and works closely with cross-functional and regional teams to help maintain secure, compliant, and user-friendly access across the organization. The analyst plays an important part in global IAM programs by assisting in ensuring that identities, accounts, and privileges are properly governed, actively maintained, and aligned with least-privilege principles.

Key function duties
  • Identity Lifecycle Management
    • Support and help improve global identity lifecycle processes (human and machine) by ensuring accurate and secure user provisioning, role assignment, and deprovisioning across the organization.
  • Identity Governance
    • Assist in coordinating and executing access reviews, contribute to improving governance workflows, and help the business understand and maintain compliant access based on established policies.
  • Application Onboarding & Access Model Support
    • Work with business and IT teams to onboard applications into IAM tools, document access requirements, and support the setup of role and attribute models that improve user experience and reduce administrative effort.
  • Privileged Access Management (PAM)
    • Help operate and maintain PAM solutions for endpoints and servers, support least-privilege controls, and assist teams in following secure processes for managing privileged accounts.
  • Policy Support & Governance
    • Contribute to maintaining IAM-related policies, standards, and procedures by providing input, performing reviews, and staying aware of relevant regulations in collaboration with the wider ISO teams.
  • IAM Project Support
    • Participate in IT and business projects by providing IAM-related input, validating access requirements, and helping ensure that solutions follow IAM policies and best practices.
  • Identity Awareness & Education
    • Support awareness efforts by helping create communication materials, sharing IAM best practices, and promoting secure identity behaviors in coordination with global and regional teams.
  • AI Identity & Access Governance
    • Assist in applying identity and access controls for AI systems, ensuring proper access to AI models, datasets, and integrations under guidance from senior IAM and GRC colleagues.
  • OT Identity & Access Governance
    • Support the definition and implementation of identity controls for Operational Technology environments, considering their unique characteristics and working closely with Architecture & Engineering teams.


Other Duties and responsibilities
  • Support the improvement of IAM processes, tools, and documentation by contributing to updates, identifying opportunities for efficiency, and helping maintain global consistency.
  • Assist in preparing reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership and cross-functional meetings, helping translate IAM topics into clear and understandable information.
  • Contribute to security projects and initiatives-such as RFPs, RFIs, and governance workflow enhancements-by providing IAM-related input and helping ensure requirements are considered.
  • Provide coordination and administrative support for IAM-related committees, working groups, and regional activities to help ensure smooth collaboration and communication.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned to support the Global Information Security Office and the ongoing growth of the IAM program.


Required Skills and Qualifications
  • IAM & Technical Skills
    • Good understanding of IAM fundamentals, including identity lifecycle processes, access provisioning, role and attribute models, and entitlement governance.
    • Familiarity with authentication and authorization technologies such as SSO, MFA, OAuth2, OIDC, and SAML, with a willingness to deepen expertise.
    • Some experience supporting application onboarding into IAM systems, including documenting access needs and helping map roles or attributes.
    • Broad foundational IT knowledge across areas like infrastructure, networking, cloud services and APIs, with a desire to continue growing technical depth.
  • Governance, Risk & Compliance
    • Experience assisting with access reviews or certification activities and an understanding of why these controls are important.
    • Awareness of relevant regulatory and industry frameworks (ISO27K, GDPR, NIS2, GxP, ...) and the ability to apply guidance from senior team members.
    • Ability to interpret IAM policies and follow established operational controls to ensure consistent adherence.
  • Process & Collaboration Skills
    • Ability to support project coordination activities such as gathering requirements, documenting processes, and tracking progress in cross-functional initiatives.
    • Comfortable working with global teams across different regions and time zones, valuing diversity and collaboration.
  • Communication & Team Skills
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain IAM topics clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Ability to build positive working relationships with business, IT, and security teams and contribute constructively to discussions and joint activities.
    • Demonstrates ownership and accountability for assigned tasks, with the ability to support regional or global IAM efforts.
    • A strong team player, recognizing that IAM is central to many projects and requires close collaboration to deliver secure and effective solutions.


Preferred skills
  • Experience with IAM / PAM Platforms and tools:
    • Hands on experience with IAM tools and PAM tools, knowledge of common directories.
  • Technical Security Understanding:
    • Broad cybersecurity domain knowledge including identity management, access management, cloud security, network security, encryption, ...
  • Project Support & Coordination:
    • Experience supporting cross-functional initiatives by helping coordinate activities, assisting with timelines, and contributing to the successful delivery of security-related projects.
  • Operational Technology knowledge:
    • Knowledge of operational technology and this linked to Identity and access.
  • Cross Regional Collaboration:
    • Experience working in global environments with diverse teams and cultures across multiple time zones.


Education and Experience
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in information security, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field; master's degree preferred or equal from experience.
    • Certification on Information Security like CompTIA Security+, or Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM), CISSP, etc. is a plus.
  • Experience:
    • 2-6 years of experience in information security, identity, PAM, or a similar discipline. Experience leading IAM programs or working in globally regulated environments is highly preferred.

Target Pay Range: $90,000.00 to $112,500.00 - Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data
Target Bonus on Base: 7.0%
