What You'll Do Day-To-DayUnder close supervision, this position will be responsible for developing, maintaining and optimizing project schedules for the Nuclear Instrumentation & Controls team. The chosen candidate will coordinate with project partners on the development and implementation of project schedules along with tracking and monitoring project schedules through completion.
- Develops, maintains current project schedules, schedule status and schedule analysis with appropriate software.
- Assists in developing project work breakdown structure for projects to meet scheduling and cost tracking requirements.
- Provides critical path analysis and creates 'what if' scenarios; evaluates impact of changes to critical path.
- Assists in identifying and ensuring adherence to required project resources (staff, materials, equipment, etc.).
- Coordinates with IS on implementation, updating and enhancement to scheduling software tools.
- Participates on project teams providing valued project data and analysis; leads project schedule status meetings.
- Provides scheduling training, coaching and leadership to project staff, as needed.
- Develops and analyzes project metrics; generates accurate, timely reports and schedules for management.
- Recommends and develops scheduling process improvements.
What You'll Bring- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
- Advanced understanding of planning and scheduling concepts.
- Must have experience using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Excel.
- Basic comprehension of nuclear power plant systems, components and interrelated activities.
- Good communication skills to comprehend, follow direction and convey detailed technical data.
- Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships; work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Good problem identification and problem resolution skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to adjust schedules based on changing priorities.
- Awareness of internal and external stakeholders to ensure complete work package inputs and definition.
Total Rewards Package- Salary: $73,000-$95,000 and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
