Why This Role Is Critical

The I&C Planner Scheduler position is based in our Lynchburg, VA, Cranberry Township, PA or Mansfield, MA office. In this role you will be part of a scheduling team that is responsible for development, maintaining and optimization of project schedules, tracking progress and generating detailed reports, forecasts, variance reporting and monthly KPIs, using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Excel. You are a proactive, detailed driven, motivated candidate that is looking for an exciting opportunity to work in the nuclear industry in the Instrumentation and Controls Engineering group. If you possess extensive knowledge of computers and exhibit the capability, mindset, and willingness to learn and implement Operational Excellence standards in scheduling and monitoring tasks, your actions, behaviors, and decisions will consistently align with Framatome's Core Values.

What You'll Do Day-To-Day

Under close supervision, this position will be responsible for developing, maintaining and optimizing project schedules for the Nuclear Instrumentation & Controls team. The chosen candidate will coordinate with project partners on the development and implementation of project schedules along with tracking and monitoring project schedules through completion.
  • Develops, maintains current project schedules, schedule status and schedule analysis with appropriate software.
  • Assists in developing project work breakdown structure for projects to meet scheduling and cost tracking requirements.
  • Provides critical path analysis and creates 'what if' scenarios; evaluates impact of changes to critical path.
  • Assists in identifying and ensuring adherence to required project resources (staff, materials, equipment, etc.).
  • Coordinates with IS on implementation, updating and enhancement to scheduling software tools.
  • Participates on project teams providing valued project data and analysis; leads project schedule status meetings.
  • Provides scheduling training, coaching and leadership to project staff, as needed.
  • Develops and analyzes project metrics; generates accurate, timely reports and schedules for management.
  • Recommends and develops scheduling process improvements.

  • Advanced understanding of planning and scheduling concepts.
  • Must have experience using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Excel.
  • Basic comprehension of nuclear power plant systems, components and interrelated activities.
  • Good communication skills to comprehend, follow direction and convey detailed technical data.
  • Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships; work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Good problem identification and problem resolution skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Ability to adjust schedules based on changing priorities.
  • Awareness of internal and external stakeholders to ensure complete work package inputs and definition.


Total Rewards Package

  • Salary: $73,000-$95,000 and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
