  • Design and build test setups and fixtures to support qualification and verification activities
  • Perform failure analysis, diagnostics, repairs, and technical root cause evaluations
  • Interpret test data and produce clear, defensible technical reports for engineering and quality records
  • Ensure all work complies with applicable nuclear codes, standards, and QA requirements

I&C Engineer

Location: Oak Ridge, TN

Type: Direct Hire

Work Model: Onsite

Overview:

We're seeking an I&C Engineer who enjoys hands-on technical work, reverse engineering legacy systems, and solving complex problems in a highly regulated nuclear environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on understanding how systems work at the component level and supporting critical safety-related equipment qualification efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Reverse engineer, troubleshoot, and evaluate obsolete or legacy electronic components and systems
  • Support Commercial Grade Dedication (CGD) activities for safety-related (QL1) equipment in accordance with nuclear quality requirements
  • Develop, execute, and document test plans for electronic components and assemblies
