HVACR & Liquid Cooling System ArchitectJabil's Energy & Infrastructure (E&I) division is seeking an experienced
HVACR & Liquid Cooling System Architect to help shape next-generation cooling solutions. In this highly visible role, you'll partner with business units and global customers to define, architect, and industrialize advanced cooling technologies, including HVAC, chillers, coolant distribution units (CDUs), and liquid-cooling systems, while leveraging Jabil's global manufacturing footprint.
Location: Remote within the U.S. or based at Jabil's St. Petersburg, FL Gandy Lab (relocation assistance available). Travel approximately 15-20%.
What You'll Do- Demonstrate technical expertise in HVACR market domains and liquid-cooling systems
- Translate customer and market needs into scalable, manufacturable, and energy-efficient solutions. Lead system architecture & requirements definition.
- Drive technical feasibility studies, system trade-offs, and performance optimization across cost, reliability, efficiency, and schedule.
- Partner with customers, Sales, and Business Units to develop technical solutions supporting strategic growth opportunities.
- Lead cross-functional design reviews across mechanical, thermal, controls, electrical, manufacturing, and quality teams.
- Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, safety requirements, and energy-efficiency targets.
- Support manufacturing readiness, supply chain strategy, and product industrialization from concept through production.
What You'll Bring- Bachelor/Master's degree in Energy, ME/EE/Thermal engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in all relevant HVACR domains (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration) and related product development (heat pumps, chillers, CDU, refrigerant systems, ...)
- 5+ years of experience in liquid-cooling systems
- 5+ years of experience in system architecture and platform leadership
- ASHRAE certification is strongly preferred
- Strong customer-facing communication and executive presentation skills.
- Experience collaborating across global teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.

The pay range for this role is $126,100 - $227,000. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity. The anticipated close date of this job requisition is: December 30, 2026.
