We are currently seeking an experienced HVAC Estimator to handle our Commercial operations and join our growing team!
Location: Burlington, MA Type: Full time permanent employment Pay: $100-150K DOE Offering $10,000 SIGNING BONUS for well qualified candidates- $2,500 after 30 days
- $2,500 after 90 days
- $5,000 after 6 months
The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of commercial HVAC construction. They support the customer and bid process through excellent communication and organizational skills, work well independently and as part of a team, and ultimately provide the best qualified proposals backed by a very capable, well-respected HVAC organization!
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Prepare cost estimates for HVAC MEP construction projects!
- Read and comprehend all contract documents including specifications, project scopes, drawings and standards to prepare accurate project cost estimates.
- Accurately take off material quantities from drawings to develop material and labor pricing.
- Assemble scoped RFP's for vendors and subcontractors to obtain pricing. Analyze, compare and select best value vendor and subcontractor proposals for inclusion in cost estimates.
- Participate in bid review and scope review meetings and be able to explain a projects scope and estimated project costs as well as assumptions and means/methods to upper management for approval.
- Prepare detailed breakdown of cost estimates that facilitates review and understanding.
- Attend in-house project turnover meetings from estimating to project management.
