Full Job Description
This Position reports to: Cluster Manager NAM and LBL Manager CA We are looking for a dynamic and strategic HR Business Partner for Process Industries Division in Canada and our Mining & Materials business across North America. In this business-critical role, you will act as a key member of the Management team - driving performance, culture and people portfolio topics with high engagement and integrity. You will provide HR support and showcase your expertise by establishing strong relationships with all business leaders and employees. The work model for the role is hybrid and includes business travels as on-site visibility at our different sites is important. This position reports to: Cluster Manager - Mining & Materials - North America You will be mainly accountable for: • Understands the business drivers, the current strategy and identifies opportunities and develop activities for HR to add value to the business • Sets and implements HR priorities in the organization in line with Group / Process Industries Division / Global Business Line and people strategy, covering culture, people, and ensuring to provide new solutions where appropriate. Partnering with respective managers to develop and implement people strategies. • Represents HR by establishing strong relationships with business leaders and acting as a consultant, sparring partner and coach. Oversee HRBP support for the business in designated area of responsibility ensuring an effective overall HR contribution and value-add to the business in partnership with the functions and Shared Services. • Implements and ensures compliance with global and local standards, policies and processes related to HR delivery • Develops high performing teams, including organizational restructuring, optimal utilization, redeployment and right-sizing of people resources. • Ensures competence development actions supporting the business strategy are in place; implement learning and development activities to build and improve competence in collaboration with other stakeholders Qualifications for the role: • Bachelor's or higher degree in a related field. Preferably in HR, finance and business management. • CPHR (Chartered Professionals in Human Resources) mandatory • Experience and proven track record of collaborating with senior leaders in global environment driving people and culture development. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence both internally and externally. • Experience and knowledge in Canadian labor law along with basic understanding of differences in labor laws in the NAM region • Key skills are ability to influence different stakeholders, superior communication and collaboration skills, inspirational and motivational leadership and ability to form trustful relationships. • Experience from Mergers and Acquisition and business integrations is preferred.
