Full Job Description
The Human Resources Data Analyst will support enterprise human capital initiatives by analyzing workforce data, developing dashboards and reports, and identifying trends that support strategic decision-making. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, experience with business intelligence tools, and the ability to communicate complex data in a meaningful way to executive leadership and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance human capital dashboards, scorecards, reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Analyze workforce data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Create data visualizations and automated reporting solutions using business intelligence tools.
  • Develop business process models and workflow documentation using Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN).
  • Utilize Tableau, Power Automate, SharePoint, and Microsoft Power BI to support reporting and data analysis initiatives.
  • Audit and validate HR data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity across multiple systems.
  • Produce executive briefings, presentations, and analytical reports that support strategic workforce planning.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and develop data-driven solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Support ad hoc reporting requests and provide recommendations based on quantitative and qualitative analysis.
Required Qualifications
  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of 12 years of project, program management, or related professional experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years conducting analytical and support activities.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience collecting, organizing, analyzing, and interpreting complex datasets.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Federal Human Resources or Human Capital programs.
  • Experience with Tableau, Power BI, SharePoint, Power Automate, Microsoft Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Experience developing workforce analytics dashboards and executive-level reports.
  • Knowledge of business process modeling and process improvement methodologies.
  • Experience supporting federal government clients.
