Location:Alhambra, CA

Job Summary:

The HR Business Partner works with all levels in the organization and successfully partners with our managers and leadership team to help implement the people strategy needed for business success. As the key point of contact for our Southern California locations, as well as all fully remote employees in the US, this role ensures we deliver day-to-day HR Activities, as well as customer-centric HR consultation and business partnering for employees and leaders. The HR Business Partner is hands-on and responsible for all facets of an employee's lifecycle.

Responsibilities:
  • Build organizational capability to support business priorities with strong employee relations and business partnering focus (40%)
  • Drive, recommend, and at times manage creative strategies to address retention, employee engagement and leadership development (20%)
  • Own the employee lifecycle, including new employee onboarding, induction, ongoing performance management, and exit processes (20%)
  • Manage the HR side of internal and external audits from Quality Management programs such as ISO 9001 (10%)
  • Manage and own day-to-day tactical responsibilities of a local HR professional (10%)


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of progressive human resources experience in a manufacturing environment (hi-tech sector preferred) or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Excellent knowledge of state and federal labor laws
  • HR Certification is a plus
  • Preferred experience working for a multinational/global organization
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work well independently and proactively
  • Must be able to work flexible hours as needed to support a multi-shift manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships across multiple levels and disciplines in the organization
  • Strong focus on execution and high-quality output with strong attention to detail
