Job DescriptionHuman Resources Business PartnerPosition Summaryonsemi is seeking a motivated and collaborative Human Resources Business Partner to support employees and leaders at our East Fishkill site. This role provides both strategic and day-to-day HR support while partnering closely with managers and employees to foster a positive, high-performing work environment.
The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in Human Resources, strong interpersonal skills, and a desire to grow their HR Business Partner capabilities. This role offers the opportunity to gain experience across multiple HR disciplines, including employee relations, talent management, organizational development, workforce planning, and HR analytics.
The successful candidate will build strong relationships with leaders and employees, serve as a trusted HR resource, and help implement programs and initiatives that support business objectives and employee engagement.
ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities- Support the implementation of HR programs and initiatives that align with company, site, and business objectives.
- Partner with managers and employees to provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Assist leaders with employee performance, development, engagement, and retention initiatives.
- Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends and support business decisions.
- Participate in workforce planning, talent reviews, and organizational development activities.
- Help resolve employee concerns and provide guidance on employee relations matters, escalating complex issues as appropriate.
- Support performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development planning.
- Build partnerships with employees across the site through regular interaction and visibility within the organization.
- Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence and other HR team members to support business needs.
- Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and development of talent.
- Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
- Participate in site audits and support corrective action plans as needed.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and employee experience.
- Contribute to HR projects and initiatives that support organizational goals.
- Maintain accurate HR records and utilize HR systems and reporting tools effectively.
- Perform other HR-related responsibilities as assigned.
Relationship Focus- Develop strong working relationships with managers, employees, and HR colleagues.
- Collaborate across functions to support business and people priorities.
- Effectively communicate HR programs, processes, and organizational changes.
- Provide professional and responsive support to internal stakeholders.
- Partner with local and regional HR teams to ensure a consistent employee experience.
QualificationsQualificationsEducation- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field required.
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related field strongly preferred.
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
Experience- 1 to 5 years of Human Resources experience, preferably in an HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, Employee Relations, or Talent Management role.
- Experience supporting a manufacturing, technology, engineering, or other fast-paced operational environment preferred.
- Demonstrated experience handling employee relations matters and supporting leaders in people-related decisions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting tools is a plus.
- Interest in learning the semiconductor manufacturing industry and supporting a highly technical workforce.

onsemi is excited to share the base salary range for this position is $65,900-$115,400 exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. The final pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and/or consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
