Job Description:

Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to join our team. This position will be onsite at our corporate office in Chandler, Arizona (hybrid options may be available) and provide ongoing support to business leaders and employees while working to advance business goals and strengthen the culture and values at Microchip Technology. At Microchip employees are our greatest strength!

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned Business Unit leaders and employees while providing HR guidance, support, and solutions aligned with business needs.
  • Advise managers and employees on the interpretation and application of company policies, procedures, and HR best practices.
  • Support staffing activities, including creating requisitions, posting jobs, conducting interviews, extending and negotiating offers, onboarding new hires, and maintaining accurate records for reporting and OFCCP compliance.
  • Process terminations and conduct employee exit interviews.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or related field is required
  • 2+ years of direct experience in Human Resources, and Staffing/Recruiting
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Effective listening and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Effective presentation and facilitation skills
  • High attention to detail and organization
  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with peers, employees, and management.
  • Ability to work with minimal direction and supervision, and drive tasks and projects to completion.
  • Ability to multitask and balance multiple tasks/projects at once.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PHR/SPHR certification
  • HRIS Workday experience
  • Prior technical and/or semiconductor HR experience
