Full Job Description

As the HR Business Partner supporting Mott’s High Purity business, you will serve as a strategic partner to business and operations leadership during a period of significant growth and transformation. You will translate business priorities into people strategies that strengthen organizational capability, improve workforce stability, build leadership capacity, and ensure the organization has the talent needed to deliver for our customers.
This role will work closely with High Purity leadership and the broader Human Resources team to move beyond transactional HR support and proactively identify and solve the people and organizational challenges impacting business performance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partner with High Purity leadership to develop and execute people strategies aligned with business priorities, growth plans, and operational objectives.

  • Lead strategic workforce planning, identifying current and future workforce requirements, critical roles, capability gaps, staffing risks, and talent priorities.

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and business leaders to improve the quality, speed, and effectiveness of hiring for critical salaried and hourly positions.

  • Build stronger talent and succession pipelines by identifying critical roles, assessing organizational bench strength, and developing actionable succession and development plans.

  • Drive retention and workforce stability strategies, using employee data, turnover trends, exit insights, and business feedback to identify root causes and implement targeted actions.

  • Partner with leaders to strengthen onboarding, training, and employee development, ensuring employees build the capabilities needed to perform successfully and grow within the organization.

  • Provide coaching and counsel to leaders on organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, team performance, employee engagement, and talent decisions.

  • Support organizational design and role optimization, ensuring structures, roles, spans of control, and capabilities are aligned with evolving business needs.

  • Lead and support change management initiatives associated with organizational growth, new ways of working, leadership changes, and business transformation.

  • Use workforce data and HR metrics to identify trends, challenge assumptions, and provide actionable recommendations to business leaders.

  • Partner across HR to ensure effective execution of talent management, performance management, compensation, employee relations, and other enterprise HR programs.

  • Lead strategic HR projects from problem identification through implementation, establishing clear measures of success and ensuring sustainable results.

What You Will Learn
In this role, you will have the opportunity to directly influence the growth and transformation of a complex manufacturing organization serving demanding, high-growth markets.
You will deepen your expertise in strategic workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, talent management, leadership development, and change management while working closely with senior business and operations leaders.
You will also gain significant experience connecting people strategy directly to operational performance — understanding how workforce capacity, capability, leadership, training, retention, and organizational design influence the business’s ability to deliver for its customers.

What Success Looks Like
Success in this role means helping High Purity build the capacity, capability, and stability required to support sustainable growth.
You will help create an organization where:

  • Critical roles are identified, prioritized, and filled with strong talent.

  • Workforce plans anticipate business demand rather than react to vacancies.

  • New employees are effectively onboarded, trained, and positioned for success.

  • Leaders have stronger visibility to talent, performance, succession, and organizational risk.

  • Regrettable turnover and workforce instability are understood and addressed through targeted actions.

  • Critical positions have stronger internal pipelines and succession coverage.

  • Organizational structures and roles evolve with the needs of the business.

  • Workforce and talent decisions are supported by meaningful data and measurable outcomes.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.

  • 7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including experience as an HR Business Partner or HR leader supporting business or operational organizations.

  • Demonstrated experience in several of the following areas: workforce planning, talent management, succession planning, organizational design, leadership development, employee engagement, retention, and change management.

  • Demonstrated ability to partner with and influence senior leaders while balancing business objectives, employee needs, and organizational priorities.

  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to translate workforce data and business information into insights and actions.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex HR initiatives and projects from strategy through execution.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience supporting a manufacturing, operations, engineering, or similarly complex technical environment.

  • Experience supporting an organization experiencing significant growth, transformation, or operational change.

  • Demonstrated experience building workforce plans and talent strategies tied directly to business demand.

  • Strong coaching capability and experience developing leaders at multiple levels of an organization.

  • Experience using workforce analytics, talent metrics, and organizational data to influence business decisions.

  • Experience operating within a matrixed organization and partnering across multiple HR disciplines.

  • Change management, coaching, organizational development, or related certification.

How You Will Make an Impact
High Purity is operating in an environment where customer demand is significantly outpacing current capacity. Building the organization required to support that demand requires more than simply filling open positions — it requires an integrated approach to talent, workforce planning, leadership, development, retention, and organizational effectiveness.
The HR Business Partner will help High Purity build that capability by ensuring we have the right talent, in the right roles, with the right capabilities, supported by strong leaders and sustainable people practices.
