Job Title: Human Resources Business Partner
Compensation: $95,000-110,000K + Bonus 10%
Location: Clifton, NJ (Onsite / Regional Travel Required)
The OpportunityOur client is seeking a strategic and hands-on Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support a multi-site organization by aligning people strategies with business objectives. This role serves as a trusted advisor to leaders and managers, helping drive organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and workforce performance.
The HRBP will act as the primary HR point of contact for assigned regions, partnering closely with leadership teams to ensure consistent application of HR policies, strong employee relations practices, and a positive workplace culture. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking and day-to-day HR execution in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Partner with regional and branch leadership to align HR strategies with business goals.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to managers on employee relations, performance management, and organizational development.
- Conduct regular check-ins with business leaders to provide coaching, HR guidance, and workforce insights.
- Support leaders through employee lifecycle decisions including hiring, promotions, performance actions, and separations.
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace environment that promotes engagement and retention.
- Address and resolve employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies.
- Coach managers through conflict resolution, performance issues, and workplace challenges.
- Support initiatives that strengthen culture, morale, and employee experience.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to develop and execute effective recruiting strategies.
- Ensure hiring practices are aligned with organizational needs and promote diversity and inclusion.
- Support workforce planning efforts to ensure the organization is positioned for future growth.
- Assist in onboarding and orientation programs to ensure smooth employee integration.
- Support performance management programs, including goal setting, reviews, and competency assessments.
- Partner with leadership on succession planning and talent development initiatives.
- Identify training and development needs and support learning and development programs.
- Assist in designing and improving organizational structures to enhance efficiency and performance.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Maintain consistent application of HR policies and procedures across assigned regions.
- Partner with corporate HR to ensure alignment with organizational standards and practices.
- Support HR reporting, metrics, and data analysis to inform business decisions.
- Utilize HRIS systems to manage employee data, reporting, and workforce analytics.
- Leverage tools and reporting capabilities to identify trends and recommend solutions for improvement.
- Support continuous improvement of HR processes and system efficiency.
• Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5-10 years of progressive HR experience, including HR Business Partner or generalist experience.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws (FMLA, ADA, EEO, FLSA, COBRA, etc.).
- Experience supporting multi-location or multi-state workforces.
- Strong communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
