The Human Resources Generalist serves as the primary HR partner for employees and managers across the organization. This role focuses on employee experience, manager support, recruiting, employee relations, development, engagement, and HR program administration. The Generalist helps drive a positive workplace culture while ensuring leaders and employees receive timely, practical, and people-focused support.
This is a hybrid role, based out of our St. Charles, IL office. The salary range is $75,000 - $95,000 annually. We typically target the midpoint of our range, and pay will be based on relevant experience.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Manages full-cycle recruitment process for open roles, including partnering with hiring managers to ensure a positive candidate experience
- Lead and develop the company's internship program.
- Own and iterates on, the onboarding experience from offer through first 90 days, with new-hire logistics, orientation sessions, and onboarding materials
- Support compensation initiatives, including salary band maintenance and market benchmarking.
- Provide backup support for payroll processing and payroll-related inquiries.
- Lead employee engagement, recognition, and culture initiatives.
- Partner with leaders to develop and implement action plans from employee survey feedback.
- Administer performance review processes and goal-setting programs.
- Coordinate employee training, development, and career growth opportunities, including employee development and growth conversations.
- Partner with managers on employee coaching and supporting their manager development.
- Monitor employment law updates and assist with policy and handbook maintenance.
- Provide employee and manager support for HR systems, self-service tools, benefits, and other inquiries.
- Assist with system enhancements, process improvements, and HR technology adoption.
- Support employee onboarding and transition activities related to acquisitions.
- Participate in special projects and other HR initiatives as assigned.
