Position Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Health, Safety & Environmental Supervisor to help lead and strengthen our safety culture in a manufacturing environment. In this hands-on leadership role, you will partner closely with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, and site leadership to reduce risk, support compliance, and drive continuous improvement across the facility.
What You'll Do:- Lead and develop a small team of HSE Coordinators while providing day-to-day safety and environmental support to the site.
- Partner with Operations and site leaders to implement HSE programs, training, risk reduction initiatives, and behavior-based safety practices.
- Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, job safety analyses, and corrective action follow-up.
- Support equipment reviews, machine guarding assessments, and process changes in collaboration with Engineering and Maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with applicable OSHA, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
Environmental Leadership:- Manage key environmental programs, including air permitting, SWPPP compliance, waste management, and sustainability reporting.
- Work with external consultants and regulatory agencies to maintain compliance and support continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For:- 3+ years of HSE experience in a manufacturing environment; experience leading or mentoring HSE team members is preferred.
- Degree in Occupational Safety, Engineering, Environmental, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations; familiarity with NFPA, NIOSH, ANSI, NEC, TCEQ, EPA, or DOT is an asset.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, organization, and analytical skills.
- Comfortable working closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
- Ability to travel up to 10-15%.
