Full Job Description
This position is remote. Reporting to the Director, HR Technology, the HRIS Workday Analyst is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and optimizing Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) functionalities. In this role, the analyst will be working closely with HRIS Product Owners and responsible for Workday configuration, analytics, reports, integrations, and security. The analyst collaborates with HRIS organization, External Application Managed Services, IT, HR, Payroll, and Finance to understand business processes and compliance requirements, evaluate system impacts, and deliver scalable Workday solutions that align with business objectives and support long-term system sustainability.

General Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Resolve enhancement requests from monthly release and enhancement cycles across Workday HCM modules, partnering with HRIS Product Owners and business stakeholders to design, document, test, and deploy scalable solutions.
  • Collaborate with HR Functional Owners, HR Business Partners, IT, Payroll, and Finance stakeholders to understand business processes, compliance requirements, and system impacts.
  • Participate actively in Workday HCM enhancement initiatives, system upgrades, and support projects, serving as a functional and technical subject matter expert.
  • Configure and maintain Workday functionality including business processes, reports, integrations, calculated fields, and analytics while ensuring solutions are designed for long-term scalability and maintainability.
  • Review business requirements with stakeholders, recommend appropriate system solutions, and configure and deploy enhancements aligned with business objectives and Workday best practices.
  • Build, enable, and troubleshoot Workday HCM functionality including reporting, analytics, integration, data loads, and system enhancements.
  • Maintain detailed system documentation in accordance with SOX and SDLC requirements established by Alignment Healthcare.
  • Manage and resolve HRIS support cases within established service level agreements (SLAs), ensuring timely resolution and clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain user guides, job aids, and process documentation with a focus on improving the employee and manager user experience.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing system documentation, data validation, and evidence of controls and compliance processes.


Required Skills and Experiences:
  • 3 to 5 years of strong technical experience supporting Workday HCM, including modules such as Core HCM, Recruiting, Benefits, Compensation, Talent Management, Talent Optimization, Learning, Time Tracking, Absence, and Payroll.
  • Hands-on experience configuring Workday HCM including business processes, calculated fields, security, and reporting frameworks.
  • Advanced experience developing Workday reporting and analytics solutions including Advanced, Matrix, and Composite Reports, Discovery Boards, Worksheets, and Prism Analytics.
  • Experience supporting and troubleshooting Workday integrations, including monitoring integration events, data loads, and vendor connectivity. Workday Studio experience is preferred.
  • Experience designing scalable and maintainable Workday configurations that support evolving business needs, organizational growth, and regulatory requirements.
  • Workday Pro Certification is preferred.
  • Strong functional knowledge across the Hire-to-Retire lifecycle with the ability to translate business requirements into effective Workday solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience improving and supporting HR operational processes through system configuration, automation, and reporting.
  • Ability to manage multiple system enhancements and priorities within monthly enhancement cycles while maintaining system stability and data integrity.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective partnerships with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and external stakeholders.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience.

Pay Range: $85,696.00 - $128,543.00
Pay range may be based on a number of factors including market location, education, responsibilities, experience, etc.
