Position Description: We are seeking a versatile Project Manager to lead an HRIS system improvement / HRIS system implementation. This PM needs to have prior HR experience, including payroll, benefits administration, and retirement programs such as 401(k).
Your future duties and responsibilities: This role requires a strong understanding of how HR functions operate and how systems (e.g., HRIS, payroll platforms, and benefits systems) enable and optimize those processes. The ideal candidate will manage the delivery of programs that improve employee experience, ensure compliance, and enhance operational efficiency, while partnering closely with HR, IT, Finance, and external vendors.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role: This position operates in a highly ambiguous environment and requires an individual who can work effectively with limited direction. The Project/Program Manager will be expected to bring structure to loosely defined problems, independently identify priorities, and translate high level objectives into executable plans. They must be comfortable navigating evolving requirements and making informed decisions while maintaining alignment with business goals. Strong analytical skills and the ability to connect process design with system capabilities are critical to success in this role.
The successful candidate demonstrates strong stakeholder management skills, effectively communicating complex HR and systems concepts to both technical and non technical audiences. Experience with HR technologies (such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or similar platforms), along with a solid understanding of payroll, benefits, and compliance considerations, will position candidates to drive impactful outcomes and continuous improvement across the organization.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $88,200.00 $154,800.00.
