Job Title: HRIS Analyst.
Job Location: RemoteClient is looking for an experienced Human Resources Analyst to execute a strategic, multi-department reporting and analytics initiative. What you'll do- Execute a self-service reporting initiative that will support the needs of both front line managers and Executive Leadership
- Become the subject matter expert on the data contained in multiple systems, and the data integrations between those systems
- Use your knowledge of HR data to assist with audit and data integrity
- Not only mine for answers, but partner with Leadership on how to formulate the questions
- Leverage your HR analytics experience to provide meaningful recommendations to stakeholders for reporting efficiencies and data insights
- Successfully manage multiple ongoing projects and meet deadlines
- Work effectively with Leadership, stakeholders, project partners, and internal Human Resources clients
- Extract data from available sources to create engaging business case supporting documentation
- Enhance professional knowledge of the data systems across Human Resources, Business Intelligence, and the data warehouse
- Willingness to get cross trained internally, learn new technologies, and perform other duties as assigned
- Fulfill ad hoc reporting requests while analyzing those requests for self-service or automated deployment
- Lead the data and reporting initiatives that support HR compliance reporting, such as OSHA and EEO
- Other duties, as assigned
Skills you'll need- 3+ years of Human Resource data analysis, dashboard creation, and data visualization
- Knowledge of Business Intelligence/ reporting platforms such as IBM Cognos (UKG BI), Looker, and Tableau
- Basic knowledge of Snowflake data warehouse or similar technology
- Anaplan or other financial planning software experience desired
- BS degree, or certification in Business Intelligence
- 1+ years of data languages such as SQL, Python, and R
- Demonstrated success defining KPIs from raw data sources and within the context of the business and creating dashboards for stakeholder visibility
- Poise and comfort with speaking in front of groups and Executive Leadership
- Advanced proficiency with MS Excel including use of vlookup, conditional formatting, pivot tables & graphs
- Demonstrated ability to define and refine forecasts based on historical datasets
- Experience supporting Human Resource initiatives in the areas of compensation, performance, compliance, time management, and engagement
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to break down technical ideas/topics
- Ability to prioritize tasks and stay organized in an ever-changing environment
- Willingness to analyze problems, identify alternate solutions, and act on recommendations to reach a desired result
- Capable of working independently with limited supervision, with the willingness to exercise independent judgment within the established systems and procedures
