Description
BACKGROUND AND UNIT SUMMARYAttracting and recruiting the right talent, in the right place and at the right time, is critical to the World Bank Group's mission. The Global Talent Acquisition team leads recruitment excellence, partnering closely with HR Teams and Hiring Managers to secure top-tier, diverse talent. The successful candidate will design and implement innovative sourcing strategies, manage the end-to-end hiring process, and develop strong talent pipelines for professional-level roles, ensuring the organization has the expertise and capabilities it needs to succeed.
The role will report to the HR Manager, Executive Recruitment (HRDER) and will have the following duties and responsibilities:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:• Proactively manage recruitment for assigned client group, collaborating with other Recruiters, HRBPs, Recruitment Service Teams, and Hiring Managers.
• Develop and implement strategic global sourcing and screening techniques to meet client needs for skilled and diverse candidates.
• Provide recruitment advice to clients and apply a variety of sourcing strategies, including internal referrals, alumni networks, social media, outreach events, online campaigns, and existing applicant pools.
• Effectively utilize recruitment systems and LinkedIn Recruiter to track candidates, document decisions, and maintain accurate data, while providing data-informed recruitment advice, including recruitment trends and talent market insights to continuously improve recruitment outcomes.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of candidates in advance of staffing needs, leveraging talent mapping and research using search techniques and Talent Insights.
• Actively contribute to other recruitment-related working groups, sharing best practices and knowledge.
• Conduct compensation evaluation and candidate offer negotiations by applying market awareness, analytical reasoning, and clear communication skills.
Selection Criteria
• Master's degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant international recruitment experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple recruitment assignments and delivering results in complex, fast-paced environments.
