Description

We are seeking an HR Generalist to support our growing organization, with a strong focus on both human resources operations and recruiting. This role will act as a key partner to property and corporate leadership, driving workforce planning, employee relations, compliance, and talent acquisition.

This is a full-time, onsite position that will require being in our office 5 days a week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary HR contact for all properties, partnering with leadership to understand workforce needs, staffing levels, and employee concerns
  • Drive recruiting efforts for Maintenance, Leasing, Property Management, Superintendents, and corporate staff roles
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on performance management, disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, and documentation best practices
  • Conduct investigations related to employee relations, policy violations, and workplace complaints, ensuring timely and compliant resolutions
  • Manage payroll processes, including calculating employee earnings (timesheets) and deductions for both exempt and non-exempt employees
  • Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing, maintain employee records, and resolve payroll-related issues in compliance with employment laws and regulations
  • Oversee onboarding for new hires, ensuring completion of required forms, policies, training, and property-specific onboarding
  • Assist in developing and delivering training materials on HR policies, compliance, customer service, and leadership development
  • Support the execution of 30-day, 90-day, and annual performance reviews


  • Maintain accurate employee allocation and reporting data
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; review and update policies and practices as needed
  • Prepare and manage HR correspondence and respond to employee inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Analyze current HR procedures and systems, recommending improvements and best practices
  • Assist with employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
  • 3-6+ years of HR experience in a generalist capacity
  • Demonstrated experience supporting both HR operations and recruiting/talent acquisition
  • Experience in multi-site or field-based environments (property management, hospitality, retail, or similar) preferred
  • Strong understanding of employee relations, performance management, and HR best practices
  • Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Experience handling employee investigations, disciplinary processes, and conflict resolution
  • Exposure to onboarding, training, and performance review processes
  • Direct involvement with payroll processes and timesheet reviews for both exempt and non-exempt employees

Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 base
