Full Job Description
As HR Director, you will serve as a strategic partner to the Senior Leadership Team while leading the HR function for the Fort Worth, TX location and managing a team of HR and HR/Safety Managers across the country. This role ensures alignment between business objectives and people strategies, while effectively supporting both local and multi-site HR needs.

So, what will you be doing as an HR Director?
  • Partners with the HRBP and acts as a liaison between the HRBP and the branches. Manages and develops a team of HR and HR/Safety Managers across multiple North America manufacturing facilities.
  • Acts as the on-site HR Manager for all HR operations at the Fort Worth, TX manufacturing location (approximately 100 employees).
  • Drives HR process, policy and HR practice standardization and best practice sharing throughout the business unit.
  • Thought partner for HRBP and branch HR Managers; has an in-depth understanding of business strategy and continuously assesses needs and barriers to drive business performance through development and delivery of HR solutions in concert with Corporate Centers of Excellences (COE's).
  • Provides guidance, coaching and support to HR Managers on human resources related matters, ensuring alignment with corporate policies, goals and objectives. Provides feedback to senior leadership regarding substantive human resources matters and makes recommendations accordingly.
  • Interprets and analyzes data to guide appropriate business decisions based on HR metrics and trends.
  • Partners with HR Managers and HRBP on policies, processes, ethics investigations, labor and legal matters, and all other HR services needed to support their respective branches.
  • Shapes culture and promotes inclusion, diversity, and equity in all aspects of HR business decisions in conjunction with the BU leadership. Builds HR capability across the business through coaching and developing HR team members.
  • Supports talent management needs for the business in partnership with the HRBP , HR Managers and COEs in order to complete talent reviews and assessments, succession planning, workforce planning and high potential assessments.
  • Acts as a change agent for right work environment initiatives through the business.
  • Drive continuous improvement mindset throughout the HR function to increase effectiveness and value creation.
  • Responsible for compliance to local, state and federal laws, regulations, and LP policy manuals

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 4-year degree in Human Resources or similar preferred.
  • 5+ years of HR Management experience and multi-site experience preferred
  • Prior HR experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Deep understanding of all facets of the Human Resources function
  • Experience developing and implementing HR programs required
  • Ability to coach, mentor, and guide leaders through HR issues
  • Proven ability to identify talent and foster a people first culture
  • Ability to collect and analyze data to drive actions for organizational improvement
  • Significant experience with local laws and all things employment compliance related

Things we consider a plus:
  • Master's degree in Human Resources Management or related degree
  • Professional certifications such as SHRM or PHR
  • Working knowledge of labor relations practices, including experience or exposure to union environments and collective bargaining agreements
  • Experience leading geographically dispersed teams
