This is a high-impact role where you will serve as the firm's go-to expert on employee relations and workforce support matters, helping leaders navigate complex situations with confidence while ensuring employees feel supported and respected.
As a trusted advisor and operational expert, you will:
Lead Employee Relations & Workforce Support
- Provide expert guidance to leaders (lawyers and managers) on complex employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and workplace concerns
- Conduct workplace assessments and support fair, consistent case outcomes
- Assess risk and recommend solutions that balance business needs with employee experience
Support Accommodations, Attendance & Leaves
- Manage workplace accommodation processes in alignment with legal requirements
- Oversee attendance management and leave coordination
- Support return-to-work planning and successful reintegration
Enable Strong Performance Management
- Advise leaders on performance management practices and documentation
- Support the implementation of performance improvement plans
- Contribute to firm-wide performance management initiatives
Drive Consistency & Operational Excellence
- Ensure accurate, high-quality documentation and case management
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, reduce risk, and enhance service delivery
- Build leader capability in managing workforce issues effectively
- Provide responsive, practical support in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
What You BringEducation & Knowledge
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- CHRP designation preferred (CHRL considered an asset)
- Solid understanding of Ontario employment-related legislation (e.g., ESA, Human Rights Code, OHSA, AODA, PIPEDA)
Experience & Expertise
- Significant experience managing employee relations matters, workplace accommodations, attendance management, and leaves
- Demonstrated experience advising leaders on complex workforce issues and conflict management
- Proven ability to advise on performance management processes
- Experience working within a professional services environment, legal sector, or similarly complex organization is an asset

Salary:Target Hiring Range: $93,670 - $110,900
Commensurate with skill level, years of experience, and aligned with internal and market equity.
