Job DescriptionThe HR Business Partner serves as a strategic advisor to business leaders and employees across PlainsCapital Bank. This role partners with leadership, department managers and employees to support talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, organizational development and workforce strategy. The HR Business Partner provides day-to-day guidance on people related matters while ensuring compliance with company policies, employment laws, and banking industry requirements.
Responsibilities- Partner with business leaders to provide strategic and day-to-day human resources consultation and support.
- Advise managers on employee relations matters, including performance concerns, corrective action, workplace investigations, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation.
- Coach leaders on employee engagement, leadership effectiveness, talent development, and retention strategies.
- Support organizational changes, workforce planning initiatives, restructures, and succession planning efforts.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition to develop recruiting strategies and support the selection process for key positions.
- Manage and administer employee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development planning.
- Assist with the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies, programs, and initiatives.
- Maintain employee records and ensure the confidentiality of sensitive employee and business information.
- Build strong partnerships with leaders and employees to foster a positive workplace culture aligned with PlainsCapital Bank's values.

Qualifications- Bachelor's degree
- 3-5 years of related experience
- Computer hardware, operating system (Windows or Mac) and software/application (MS Office, Internet Explorer, Outlook etc.) skills
- Excellent people skills
- Thorough knowledge of labor legislation (state and federal)
- Demonstrated understanding of HR functions and best practices
