The
HR Business Partner is responsible for supporting the alignment of business objectives with team members and leaders to help promote performance and well-being. Partners with stakeholders to deliver value added services which enable GuideStone to deliver on its ministry and business assignment. Serves as an advisor to the business on HR processes, policy, and initiatives. The role operates with an increasing level of complexity and uses independent judgement to provide HR guidance. What You'll Do:HR Business Partnership & Support- Provides HR guidance and support to assigned business units on policies, procedures, and employee relations matters
- Collaborates with leaders to address workforce needs, organizational changes, and talent considerations
- Supports implementation of HR initiatives and ensures alignment with enterprise strategies
- Provides analytical, project management, and operational support to senior HR business partners
Employee Relations & Engagement - Resolves employee concerns and employee relations matters. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations
- Conducts regularly scheduled meetings with respective business units and serves as a liaison between HR and business units
- Supports engagement initiatives and contributes to maintaining a strong organizational culture
HR Programs & Processes - Participates in the execution of HR programs such as performance management, compensation, and talent development
- Ensures compliance with HR processes and documentation requirements
- Supports data collection and reporting to inform HR decision-making
- Analyzes data, trends, and metrics in partnership with the HR team to develop solutions, programs, and policies to meet enterprise needs.
- Maintains knowledge of employment law requirements and partners with management to reduce legal risk and ensure regulatory compliance. Partners with legal as required
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement - Partners with HR team members to improve processes and enhance service delivery
- Contributes to cross-functional initiatives and projects as assigned
- Applies knowledge of HR best practices to recommend improvements
What You'll Need: - 3+ years of experience in Human Resources, as an HR generalist or across multiple HR functions.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred
- Working knowledge of total rewards, talent development, talent management, and other functions.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships
- Ability to analyze information and make sound recommendations with some independent judgment
- Proficient skills in MS Office and appropriate GuideStone system applications
- Must maintain complete confidentiality regarding GuideStone business matters.
