VCA Katonah Bedford Veterinary Center, a state-of-the-art hybrid hospital in Katonah, NY, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Hospital Director to lead our team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving practice that combines the best of general practice, specialty, and emergency medicine under one roof.

The Role

As Hospital Director, you will partner with the regional operations director to oversee operations, drive growth, and ensure our hospital provides the best possible care and client experience. This leadership role requires strong business acumen, people management skills, and a passion for veterinary medicine.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of a multi-service hybrid hospital
  • Lead, coach, and support hospital leadership and staff to foster a positive, collaborative culture
  • Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and KPIs
  • Ensure operational excellence
  • Partner with the regional operations director and regional medical director to align medical and operational goals
  • Enhance client experience through service excellence and innovation


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of leadership experience, preferably in veterinary, healthcare, or service-oriented industries
  • Strong background in people management and business operations
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Passion for delivering outstanding client and patient care
  • Veterinary industry experience is strongly preferred but not required
