Hospice Social Worker (MSW, LICSW)
South King County, WA | $38-$45/hour | Full-Time

Puget Sound Hospice of King County is seeking a compassionate and resourceful Hospice Social Worker (MSW, LICSW) to join our interdisciplinary hospice team serving South King County.

You'll help patients and families navigate the emotional, social, and practical challenges of serious illness and end-of-life care while ensuring they feel heard, supported, and respected throughout the journey.

Compensation
  • $38-$45/hour based on experience
  • Mileage reimbursement and travel stipend

What You'll Do

As a Hospice Social Worker, you'll be an important part of the interdisciplinary team, helping patients and families navigate end-of-life care with compassion, dignity, and practical support.
  • Complete psychosocial assessments and develop individualized plans of care
  • Provide counseling and emotional support to patients and families
  • Help families navigate end-of-life planning, advance directives, hospice services, and community resources
  • Provide behavioral health support and crisis intervention when needed
  • Advocate for patient needs, preferences, and rights
  • Collaborate closely with nurses, providers, chaplains, aides, and other members of the hospice team
  • Connect patients and families with community programs and resources
  • Complete accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation
