As a HHD Superintendent, you will lead and empower construction crews to take ownership of their assigned projects. You will be responsible for managing field leadership, including Supervisors and Foremen, while acting as a mentor who guides the team toward safe, high-quality project completion.
Must be willing to travel between AZ and NV and reside in either locationWhat You'll Do- Lead assigned crews to achieve productivity, quality, and safety goals
- Oversee processes to achieve all compliance requirements
- Act quickly to respond urgently in crisis, such as, outages, malfunctions, etc
- Manage project progress, budget, and safety reporting
- Analyze procedures for continuous process improvement
- Interview, hire, and train new crew members
- Develop and oversee an expense budget for the division
- Develop and set departmental, divisional, and organizational goals
- Develop annual business/project plan for assigned division
- Perform other tasks as requested by leadership
What You'll Have- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 4+ years' experience in relevant construction (as a fitter, operator, lineman, finisher, and/or welder) with no less than three years as a Foreman
- Extensive knowledge in HHD operations, Tooling, Vermeer Drills
- HHD experience in AZ & NV ground types and conditions
- Extensive knowledge in specialized disciplines such as pipeline construction, concrete, and/or electrical applications, including overhead/underground transmission, distribution, and substation
- OSHA 10, 30, and Competent Person Certified
- Mathematical skill to calculate and interpret data
- Writing skill to compose complex reports, proposals, and business/project plans
- Interpersonal skill to negotiate key business strategies, contracts, and agreements
- Ability to travel in-state and out-of-state as dictated by business needs

Work Environment- Work sites are outdoors in all weather conditions
- All worksite safety instructions are written and spoken in English; must be fluent in English
- Work includes prolonged and repeated: lifting (including overhead, up to 50lbs); standing; climbing; kneeling; reaching and feeling; crouching and crawling
- Work is performed within the "red zone" of heavy equipment
- Working safely requires quick/accurate hand-eye coordination and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
