Qualifications

• Current PA RN license required.
• Must possess a valid US Driver's License.
• Knowledge of PA's ODP 6600, 6100, and 6400 regulations required; Children's 3800 regulations preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, writing, communication, and organizational skills needed.
• Minimum of two years of direct practice nursing experience required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Primary Care Nurses (PCN) and shift nurses in the adult areas.
• Assist community or Melmark physicians to establish quality healthcare for residents.
• Coordinate with nutritionists to ensure proper diets and complete nutritional evaluations.
• Work with Primary Care Physicians (PCPs) to ensure proper medical care and treatment.
• Participate in HCC on-call rotation as needed.
• Oversee the completion of required medical paperwork and regular medical record reviews.
• Responsible for managing admission and discharge healthcare information.
