Summary

The primary purpose of the position is to assist in improving facility operational processes in the realms of efficiency, communication, and information sharing. The work requires primarily a high order of analytical ability combined with a comprehensive knowledge of the capabilities of electronic information sharing and workflow assisting technologies. This includes workflow analysis, various communication and information sharing databases such as SharePoint Online (SPOL), PowerApps and more.

The major duties and responsibilities include, but is not limited to:

  • Manage projects, delivering requirements on agreed upon deadlines utilizing industry standard tools (e.g. PMPI described tools)
  • Develops PowerApps for organizational requirements, tests, and launches, providing troubleshooting and feature updates along the lifecycle of the application; integrating multiple Power Platform products into Solutions for ALM.
  • Provides input, advice and counsel for planning, programming, budgeting and general administration of all service units and programs.
  • Establishes objectives congruent with and reflective of the philosophy and objectives of the Health Care System.
  • Implements and manages applications that affect service, facility and regional operations adding value to existing processes.
  • All other duties as assigned.


Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement, 07/21/2026.

Time-In-Grade Requirement: Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement.

  • For a GS-09 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-07.
  • For a GS-11 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-09.
  • For a GS-12 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-11.


The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement. In this instance, you must provide an additional SF-50 that clearly demonstrates one-year time-in-grade.

You may qualify based on your experience and/or education as described below:

Specialized Experience:

You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-07 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to: Experience managing high level projects, delivering requirements before a deadline, and constructing a project charter. Has troubleshot and provided technical assistance to users with a variety of technical aptitudes on topics including Microsoft PowerApps, Power Automate, communication integration, workflow management, calendaring, scheduling, and data search capabilities. You will be rated on the following Competencies for this position:

Preferred Experience:Manages projects to completion, delivering requirements on a timeline. Physical Requirements: Work is primarily sedentary. Work will involve some walking, bending, and lifting of light objects, as well as a good deal of work on a computer keyboard.

Receiving Service Credit or Earning Annual (Vacation) Leave: Federal Employees earn annual leave at a rate (4, 6 or 8 hours per pay period) which is based on the number of years they have served as a Federal employee.
