Responsible for the implementation, deployment, installation, provisioning, troubleshooting, and oversight for cloud infrastructure and related cloud services. Collaborates with cross functional teams for the deployment and ongoing support of cloud services to both internal stakeholders and clients.
- Support the planning, execution, and optimization of migrating applications, infrastructure, and data from on-premises environments to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, M365).
- Work with federal stakeholders to assess legacy environments.
- Identify dependencies.
- Define migration approaches.
- Ensure secure and reliable cutovers.
- Partner with network, security, and application teams to modernize architectures.
- Improve resiliency.
- Align with federal cloud adoption strategies.
- Analyze legacy systems, dependencies, and integration points.
- Assist with identifying and planning of potential new cloud services, features, and capabilities.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant work experience
- 4-6 years of experience in a relevant field
Other Job Specific Skills- Experience performing on-prem to cloud migrations, including re-hosting, re-platforming, or re-architecting.
- Understanding of major cloud services (compute, storage, networking, identity).
- Familiarity with assessment tools, migration tooling, or cloud-native services used for discovery and cutovers.
- Ability to analyze legacy systems, dependencies, and integration points.
- Basic understanding of federal IT environments, including change management and operational constraints.
Preferred Skills- Experience with Azure Government, AWS GovCloud, or other federal cloud environments.
- Knowledge of cloud modernization design patterns such as containerization, serverless, and microservices.
- Background in infrastructure consulting or modernization projects for federal agencies.
- Experience automating migration processes or configurations (e.g., scripting, orchestration tools).
