Health Care Director Specialist, you will make a difference in the lives of residents by ensuring they receive excellent care.
Responsibilities--Health Care Director Specialist- Monitoring medication management
- Performing resident assessments
- Providing leadership and guidance on health issues
- Providing onsite medical care
- Communicating changing medical needs to the team and family members
- Championing high quality infection control
- Verifying physician orders & move-in/move-out information
- Supervising the ordering, delivery, transcription and documentation of medication, treatments and orders under their authority
RequirementsRequirements--Health Care Director Specialist- Required: Current nursing license in the state and has
- Required: Previous supervisory experience which includes management, coaching and health care services.
- Required: The ability to travel to different locations in a region, some to require overnight stays depending on where the associate resides
- Required: prior experience as a RN or LPN/LVN
- Required: Require ability to read, speak, and write English clearly
- Prefered: prior experience in supervising direct care staff
