The Role As
Head of Sales AMER, you will lead and develop our San Francisco-based sales team, providing the in-person coaching, structure, and accountability needed to help the team perform at a high level. This is a frontline sales leadership role focused on building consistency across pipeline management, forecast discipline, deal inspection, and day-to-day execution. You will work closely with senior leadership to translate evolving go-to-market learnings into repeatable behaviors for the team, while creating a strong local team environment. This is a hands-on management role, not a player-coach position - the focus is on building and scaling the US sales team, rather than carrying an individual quota.
Your impact- Lead the US sales team in San Francisco, driving strong execution through regular coaching, pipeline inspection, forecast rigor, and high operating standards.
- Support reps in active deals by helping them think through deal strategy, next steps, and decision points, while reinforcing a consistent sales process.
- Build team motivation, camaraderie, and accountability through in-person leadership that brings out the best in each seller.
- Partner closely with senior sales leadership to capture market feedback, identify patterns across deals, and relay high-signal insights that improve messaging and go-to-market execution.
- Help scale the organization by hiring and onboarding additional Account Executives as the team expands.
- Create structure in core management rhythms, including one-on-ones, weekly forecast reviews, and performance conversations tied to clear expectations.
What We're Looking For - Experience as a frontline sales manager in a SaaS or B2B technology environment, with a track record of leading Account Executives through rapid expansion - growing teams, increasing revenue, and elevating performance as the business scaled.
- Strong sales leadership fundamentals, including pipeline management, forecast discipline, coaching, inspection, and accountability.
- Ability to balance operational rigor with adaptability in a fast-changing environment where messaging and process will continue to evolve.
- Excellent listening, judgment, and pattern-recognition skills, with the ability to synthesize feedback from the field and communicate it clearly to senior leadership.
- A thoughtful, self-reflective management style and a history of improving processes, learning quickly, and adjusting approach based on results.
- Leadership presence that helps motivate teams in the trenches, while maintaining trust, clarity, and high standards.
- Comfort working closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional partners to help scale a high-growth sales organization.
