The Head of Sales & Marketing is primarily a sales leadership role, responsible for driving revenue growth by leading every customer-facing function from first contact through signed contract. Alongside sales leadership, this person keeps our organic social media presence active and authentic-sharing customer testimonials, before/after project photos, and behind-the-scenes team content that shows who we are.
The Head of Sales & Marketing leads both the Sales Team and the Marketing Function, ensuring that leads are followed up on quickly, sales estimates are accurate and consistent, and our brand shows up consistently and authentically online.
This role owns lead generation, sales conversion, pricing accuracy, and organic social media growth.
This is a high-ownership leadership role that requires structure, creativity, and disciplined follow-through.
Key Responsibilities- Direct leadership of the Sales Team of 10-12 individuals (LMA: Lead, Manage, hold Accountable)
- Direct leadership of the Marketing function, including organic social media strategy and content
- Ownership of the sales process: lead follow-up, pricing accuracy, and deal closing
- Accountability for pipeline health, close rates, and brand presence across 2+ social platforms
- Consistently closing deals from company-provided leads
- Strong customer experience from first meeting through signed contract
- High close rate and efficient use of appointments
- Clear communication with customers and internal team

- $ of Fences Sold
- Sales conversion rate
- Lead volume and lead quality generated organically
- Organic social media growth (followers & engagement across 2+ platforms)
- Estimate accuracy across the sales team
- Sales team performance, accountability, and retention
Qualifications- Prior leadership experience in sales and/or marketing, ideally in home services, construction, or trades.
- Proven track record of building or scaling a sales team and improving conversion rates.
- Experience growing an organic social media presence-content strategy and community engagement, not just paid ads.
- EOS experience preferred but not required.
