Role Scope- Own the editorial voice and content strategy for a deeply technical company, from long-form narrative to launch messaging.
- Turn complex infrastructure, AI, and energy work into writing that engineers and AI labs take seriously.
- Build and run the editorial pipeline of essays, technical narratives, executive comms, and launches at the speed the company ships.
- Set the standard for how Fluidstack writes, and hold every public-facing piece to it.
- Partner with founders, engineers, and marketing to pull the real story out of the people doing the work and onto the page.
What We're Looking For- The below is a starting point. We always make space for exceptional people, so if you don't fit this role exactly, tell us where you would.
- You've owned the editorial voice of a company or publication and shaped how a technical audience understood it.
- You've written or edited work that credible, skeptical readers respected, not marketing copy they scrolled past.
- You can sit with an engineer or a founder and pull a sharp story out of dense technical work.
- You've built an editorial process that shipped consistently without flattening the writing into corporate sludge.
- You edit hard and raise the bar of everyone who writes around you.
- You've published on the timeline the news demanded, not the timeline a review cycle wanted.
- Bonus: Technical, infrastructure, energy, or deep-tech subject matter. Building an editorial function from scratch. A portfolio of published long-form work. Briefing and ghostwriting for executives.
We are committed to pay equity and transparency.
