What you'll doWe have an exciting new opportunity for a hardware lead who is eager to contribute to a small, fast-paced team that is developing cutting-edge solutions to a growing market! We need an individual to contribute to and lead an established hardware team in test, assembly, and integration of cutting-edge RF Environment Stimulation systems. The ideal candidate will have experience testing RF components, assembling multi-rack RF systems, and fulfilling the role of a Control Account Manager. You'll work closely with our system engineers to integrate large, modern, complex RF systems.
The day-to-dayYou'll play a key role in the integration of cutting-edge RF Environment Generation Stimulators to DoD, commercial, and civilian aviation customers. You'll perform board-level testing of complex RF components. You'll assemble and test large, multi-rack RF stimulators and small, complex, commercial RF products. You will take over the coordination of task distribution, scheduling, budget monitoring, and representation to customers and management for our established team of hardware engineers. You will be mentored by our senior hardware engineers to learn our architectures, and you will be expected to grow into a self-sufficient role. You will occasionally travel to customer sites to represent the hardware team or support fielded systems. This role provides an opportunity to work with the latest technologies, with the challenge of integrating with some of the most modern aviation systems in the world.
What you'll need- 10+ years' experience with Hardware Engineering or related field
- 5+ years' experience as a CAM, technical lead, or similar role, on EVMS programs
- Experience with Configuration Management
- Experience with Product Lifecycle
- Experience testing RF boards and RF components
- Ability to assemble large, multi-rack RF systems
- Meticulous assembly and testing skills
- Proficient with test equipment - oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, etc.
- Work with technology suppliers and subcontractors
- General understanding of the supply chain process
- Excellent communication skills and ability to represent an engineering team to customers and management
- The ability to prioritize and delegate tasks, meet schedule, and see a program to completion
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work with system, hardware, and firmware teams
- Bachelors degree in a related field
- US Citizenship required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a United States Special Access Programs Clearance
- Up to 25% travel
- This is an on-site role in Carlsbad, CA

Salary range$155,500.00 - $246,000.00 / annually.For specific work locations within San Jose, the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range for this role is $193,500.00- $290,500.00/ annually
