The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in the Guidewire Integration Framework, Java, web services, and enterprise integration patterns, with experience integrating PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter with third-party applications. Experience in Guidewire Cloud implementations and certifications is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, test, and maintain integrations for Guidewire InsuranceSuite applications, including PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter.
- Build and support integrations using the Guidewire Integration Framework, including Messaging, Web Services, Batch Processes, and Plugins.
- Develop and consume SOAP and RESTful web services for enterprise integrations.
- Design scalable integration solutions with external systems and third-party vendors.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and cross-functional teams to gather integration requirements and deliver robust solutions.
- Develop integration components using Java, Gosu, XML, XSD, and Guidewire integration APIs.
- Integrate Guidewire applications with external products such as document management, communication, credit, compliance, and data providers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, performance bottlenecks, and production incidents.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to Guidewire development standards and integration best practices.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for integration designs, interfaces, and APIs.
- Work collaboratively in Agile/Scrum teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
Required Qualifications - 7-8 years of overall IT experience.
- Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in Guidewire Integration Development.
- Strong experience with Guidewire InsuranceSuite v10 or later (PolicyCenter experience preferred).
- Guidewire Certification in at least one InsuranceSuite application (PolicyCenter preferred).
- Experience in at least one Guidewire Greenfield implementation.
- Strong expertise in the Guidewire Integration Framework, including:
- Messaging
- Web Services
- Batch Processes
- Plugins
- Hands-on experience developing and consuming SOAP and RESTful APIs.
- Strong programming skills in Java and Java-based integration frameworks.
- Good understanding of XML, XSD, JSON, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Experience integrating Guidewire with enterprise applications and third-party services.
- Good understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and integration best practices.
- Experience with SQL for troubleshooting and data validation.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
