Job Summary
We are seeking a Guidewire Functional Architect to lead functional solutioning, requirements management, and delivery for Guidewire PolicyCenter initiatives. The ideal candidate will partner with business and technology stakeholders to define scalable solutions, drive requirements across multiple Agile teams, and ensure successful delivery within the P&C Insurance domain.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead requirements gathering workshops and stakeholder discussions.
• Drive end-to-end functional requirements across multiple Agile pods.
• Translate business requirements into epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and QA teams to define and deliver solutions.
• Review solution designs and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Support PI Planning, SIT, and UAT activities.
• Manage cross-team dependencies, risks, and functional deliverables.
• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and delivery teams.
• Lead and mentor Business Analysts and Functional Analysts.
• Drive process improvements and best practices across functional delivery.
Qualifications:
• 8-15+ years of Guidewire techno-functional experience, preferably across multiple Guidewire platforms.
• 3-5+ years of experience leading functional teams, business analysis, or solutioning efforts.
• Guidewire PolicyCenter ACE Certification (mandatory).
• Strong experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter implementations.
• Experience with requirements management, business process analysis, and Agile/SAFe delivery methodologies.
• Strong understanding of data mapping, integrations, SIT, and UAT support.
• Domain expertise in Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance, preferably Small Commercial Insurance.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $[139,500 - 164,500] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
