Full Job Description
About the role

Kingdom is at an inflection point. Demand for our Superculture® pet ingredients is growing faster than our GTM team can serve it, at the same time that we are preparing to commercialize our first human ingredient and enter new international markets. The question is no longer whether brands want what we make, but how much of that demand we can scale to meet.

The GTM Senior Manager will work the full-cycle sales motion for our US pet business, from first conversation through purchase order, product launch, and repeat business. Your core focus will be converting the demand we already have: driving active deals and qualified inbound, running discovery to uncover key customer challenges and gates, coordinating samples, surfacing and clearing deal blockers, driving to a first order, and growing the account from there.

This role is designed for a high-agency operator who is excited about closing deals, driving revenue, and helping Kingdom get from 1 to 100. You will be the person who builds lasting partnerships with industry-disrupting brands and makes sure nothing drops across long, multi-stakeholder cycles, including customized pitch material preparation, creative problem solving, consistent follow-through on stalled accounts, and rigorous pipeline hygiene.

You don't need a sales background to be successful in this role. You'll work daily alongside our VP, GTM, our co-founders, and our GTM Strategy & Ops Lead, use our internal AI tooling to more effectively identify and address deal-specific needs, and get direct coaching from an industry-leading sales coach who has scaled teams and revenue to hundreds of millions of dollars. The tactics are learnable, and you'll learn them fast. What we're looking for is the EQ and communication skills to build trust across multiple stakeholders, the assurance to ask uncomfortable questions, and the resilience to keep finding new angles in the face of repeated challenges.

You will start with our smaller brands, many of them fast-growing challengers, and earn larger and more complex accounts as you prove yourself. We are a year into selling with much of our playbook still unwritten, so what you learn inside your deals will shape how the whole team sells.

This is a high autonomy, high ownership role, with success measured by the revenue you close. If you're hungry to hone your instincts as a seller and excited to drive revenue during the fastest-growing chapter in Kingdom's history, we want to hear from you.

If you join, you will:
  • Own a book of US pet accounts end to end, carrying active deals and qualified inbound through first PO and product launch, and taking on more outbound prospecting as you ramp
  • Conduct research, prepare customized pitch materials, lead customer discovery, advance commercial conversations, coordinate ingredient samples, and push customers for what we need on timelines, volumes, and internal blockers in a way that strengthens the relationship
  • Track deal stages, next steps, and risks in our CRM (Attio), minimizing delays in our response times throughout the sales cycle
  • Grow accounts after launch by finding opportunities for reformulations, additional SKUs, and second-ingredient products across a customer's portfolio
  • Shape our GTM playbook and sharpen how we sell, working with the GTM Strategy & Ops lead to codify best practices
  • Represent Kingdom at conferences and customer sites, roughly 1 to 3 trips per quarter

We're looking for you if you have:
  • 3-6 years in a high-rigor commercial or operating role (consulting, banking, early-stage business development, founding GTM, or founder experience), where you built trust and drove outcomes with clients, customers, or partners
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, with the ability to read a room and adapt in real time across different stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal instincts and the ability to build influence without authority, including pushing a customer for information you need without straining the relationship
  • Resourcefulness and resilience: when a deal stalls or a champion goes quiet, you find another way in rather than waiting for a reply
  • High agency and a "do what it takes" attitude, with a desire to move fast, find creative solutions, and clear bottlenecks regardless of the challenge
  • Organizational rigor: nothing drops, and delays or obstacles get flagged early alongside a proposed fix
  • Coachability: you seek out direct feedback, absorb it without getting defensive, and act on it quickly
  • Demonstrated experience in learning something hard and technical quickly, along with the judgment to know when to bring in an expert
  • Comfort using AI tooling for research, drafting, and meeting prep (fluency is a plus)

Working with us

Kingdom is based in the Brooklyn Navy Yard, with our full team working out of a 9,000 sq-ft headquarters and lab space. We operate in a high trust, high autonomy environment, which requires that everyone uphold our core values:
  • Solve from first principles. We have a deep-seated curiosity about the most important problems facing the business. Our nature is to dig deeply into their details, question assumptions, understand the smallest details, and drive towards the best possible solution using these insights. This makes us very effective in crafting new solutions and operating in ambiguous circumstances.
  • Collaborate with kindness. We are very low ego, and treat each other with respect, compassion, and humility. We hold one another to high standards, but do so while being deeply committed to each other's wellbeing. We invest in each other's growth, and are willing to engage in difficult conversations and deliver direct, constructive feedback when necessary.
  • Be resourceful and resilient. We figure out how to make things work, and how to accomplish our goals regardless of what stands in the way. We're keen to confront challenges together through proactive planning and scrappy methods. When things go wrong, we learn quickly from our missteps, adapt our approach, and push forward.

We provide competitive compensation with generous equity. Everyone who joins Kingdom will be a major contributor to our success, which we reflect in our approach to ownership and compensation. The cash salary range for this role is $120-170K, with the final starting salary and level being determined by qualifications, experience, skillset, and balancing internal equity. Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our company's size and industry, and are one part of a total compensation package that also includes benefits (more below) and equity (to be discussed more during the interview process). Our sales model is deliberately team-based, as deals are won by sellers, scientists, and co-founders working together, so we don't pay individual commission. Instead, everyone shares in the upside they help create through annual performance-based salary increases and equity re-ups that compound as the company grows.

We also provide a rich benefits package to support our team:
  • Fully-covered, best-in-class medical, vision, and dental insurance
  • Free memberships to One Medical, Teladoc, and Talkspace
  • Flexible PTO, in addition to 13 paid company holidays (including a weeklong winter closure from Christmas Eve through New Year's Day)
  • 12 weeks of fully paid parental leave, with the option to extend up to 24 weeks total
  • 401(k) plan, FSA option, and commuter benefit of your choice
  • Fully stocked kitchen with fruits, snacks, coffee, and tea, plus weekly team lunches
