Full Job Description
TITLE: GTM Enablement Director

LOCATION: New York City (hybrid)

SALARY: $140,000 - $155,000 + Bonus & Equity

The Role:

As the founding senior hire for Commercial Enablement, you will design and lead the overarching strategy and execution for Learning and Development across Canoe's Go-To-Market (GTM) organization. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on institutionalizing alternative investment domain expertise and driving measurable revenue growth through sophisticated process enablement. You won't just be managing a Learning Management system; you will be building a world-class engine that empowers our Sales and Client Success teams to excel in their roles.

What You'll Do:
  • Strategic Enablement Roadmap: Move beyond tactical module creation to design a long-term enablement strategy that aligns with Canoe's rapid scaling organization and revenue targets.
  • Enablement Content Development & Execution: Own all programming and execution required to successfully build and launch enablement initiatives.
  • LMS Management: Finalize launch of our Learning Management System (LMS), establishing a rigorous formal certification framework to verify that every team member is a subject matter expert.
  • Advanced Sales & CS Playbooks: Create high-level playbooks for objection handling, market positioning, and competitive differentiators specifically tailored by client segment, region, and size.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with Product, Sales Engineering, Marketing, and other functional leaders to build robust enablement programming.
  • Data-Driven Optimization: Establish KPIs to measure the direct impact of enablement programs on sales cycle compression, win rates, and client retention.
  • Onboarding Ownership: revamp onboarding process within our Learning Management System and uplevel existing onboarding to reduce ramp time amongst Commercial hires.

What We're Looking For:
  • Deep Industry Expertise: Extensive knowledge of the alternative investments industry is required. You must understand the pain points of investment firms in managing their alternative investments.
  • Senior Leadership Experience: Proven track record of building enablement or instructional design programs from the ground up in a high-growth environment.
  • Instructional Design Mastery: Expert-level skills in creating sophisticated, engaging training content for a highly technical audience.
  • Executive Presence: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and build strong cross-functional relationships.
  • Ownership Mindset: A proactive problem solver who thrives in "0 to 1" situations and sets the highest standard for excellence.
  • Tech Stack Proficiency: Experience with enterprise-grade LMS platforms (specifically Highspot) and CRM tools
