Full Job Description
About the Role

A fast-growing, early-stage AI infrastructure company in the reinforcement learning space is hiring a Growth Lead to evangelize its vision and connect with the right people across the AI ecosystem. This is a high-trust, high-ownership role where you will shape recruiting, culture, and community from the ground up - working cross-functionally to build world-class teams and expand the company's network at the frontier of AI.

The company builds infrastructure for training and evaluating AI models within RL environments, helping AI labs and businesses create high-quality post-training datasets that align AI with real-world applications. You'll be joining a small, ambitious team (11-50 people) at a pivotal moment in AI development.
What You'll Do
  • Tell the company's story and get people genuinely excited about its vision through worldbuilding and compelling narrative.
  • Find, connect, and meet with candidates, AI engineers and researchers, and other key players in the AI ecosystem.
  • Define culture and values, then screen candidates and develop onboarding processes for new hires that reflect them.
  • Own end-to-end recruiting in partnership with the Chief of Staff - building, optimizing, and automating recruiting systems and workflows.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing & Events Lead to host and represent the company at community and industry events, and create content.
  • Work with GTM Engineers to identify intros and connection pathways into high-priority leads.
What We're Looking For

Must-haves:
  • Demonstrated experience owning end-to-end recruiting processes and systems in an early-stage startup environment.
  • Ability to understand and accurately explain complex technical products related to frontier AI agents and training data.
  • Proven track record of finding, connecting with, and engaging key individuals in technical communities (recruiting, GTM, or ecosystem building).
  • Experience building and optimizing recruiting operations, tooling, and automated workflows.
  • Experience defining company culture and values, and developing new hire onboarding processes.
  • Experience hosting community events and representing a company at industry events.
  • Experience creating content for marketing or community engagement.
  • Experience collaborating with GTM teams to identify and connect with high-priority leads.

Nice to haves:
  • Established network within RL researcher, RL engineer, or broader startup communities.
  • Prior experience in dedicated recruiting, community management, or content creation roles at startups.
  • A portfolio of professional writing samples that showcases your communication style.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for frontier AI models and a clear point of view on how great technical companies tell stories.
  • Strong soft skills: well-spoken, extraverted, and skilled at reading people.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 USD annually
  • Visa sponsorship is available
Location

This is an on-site role based in San Francisco, CA. Candidates must be willing to work in-person and engage regularly with the local AI and startup community. Remote-only arrangements are not available for this position.
