Job Summary:

The Group Sales Manager is responsible for generating group sales revenues for Epic Mountain Express. Position requires proactive sales outreach with direct group clients, key hotel sales & catering staff, Destination Management Companies (DMCs), and other partners within territories outlined. Group Sales Manager will work under the strategic direction of Sr. Manager of Sales and Marketing and Revenue Manager to identify and place group business to best meet the company's strategic needs. Position requires strong computer skills and ability to be flexible and adaptable to demanding customer needs. Group Sales Manager must possess excellent verbal and written skills and demonstrate the ability to provide superior client/guest service.

Job Specifications:
  • Starting Wage: $70,944.80 - $93,494.73 + Annual Bonus

Job Responsibilities:
  • Establish and build rapport with direct clients, meeting planners, local hotel sales & catering staff and other business partners/accounts
  • Actively respond to incoming leads, ultimately securing contracts and delivering exceptional servicing of group travel
  • Achieve revenue goals set forth in quarterly and annual production goals
  • Liaise with Revenue Manager and Inventory Resource Manager to optimize group capture, rates and availability
  • Utilize Hudson transportation management system to build and manage reservation manifests, create group codes and rate parameters
  • Attend weekly revenue optimization meetings and assist with forecasting group business
  • Make sales presentations to prospective business partners; advise of product offerings, commission programs, group booking codes and use of partner web portal
  • Assist Reservations department when call demand is high and/or during summer and shoulder season time periods
  • Support local partner and community events as an ambassador for Epic Mountain Express
  • Other duties as assigned


Job Requirements:
  • College Degree preferred
  • 3 years+ sales related field or relevant transportation-related work experience
  • This role is not eligible for remote work and this role is based out of the Edwards
  • MS Office; ability to learn Hudson TMS and Salesforce.com software products
  • English
  • Driving between offices and resort locations; flexible schedule (weekends, early mornings/evenings)
  • Hospitality Group Sales and/or Transportation related experience


The expected pay range is $70,944.80 - $93,494.73 + Annual Bonus. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
