Full Job Description

About the role

We're looking for a Group Product Manager to help define what the future of AI-native video creation looks like at Mirage. Reporting directly to our CEO and Co-Founder, you'll operate as a product lead: owning some of our most important product bets while managing and developing a team of Product Managers.

You'll work closely with our Research, Engineering, Design, and GTM teams to turn rapidly evolving model capabilities into products and workflows that people can rely on every day.

You'll have significant ownership over both what we build and how we build it - helping set product direction, staying close to the details, developing the PM team, and raising the bar for product craft and execution across Mirage.

Responsibilities
  • Define the future of AI video. Develop a strong point of view on how people will create, edit, and communicate with video as agents and underlying models become more capable. Turn that perspective into concrete product bets.
  • Translate frontier capabilities into products. Work closely with research and engineering to understand what new models can do, where they fail, and how they can become reliable, intuitive experiences for real users.
  • Build creative systems, not isolated features. Think across the entire creative process. From intent and generation through editing, iteration, and publishing. Create workflows that feel coherent even as the underlying models and modalities change.
  • Develop exceptional product and model taste. Evaluate generated media across quality, controllability, consistency, latency, cost, and creative usefulness. Help the team distinguish impressive outputs from products our customers rely on.
  • Stay close to users and the market. Spend time with creators, marketers, businesses, and emerging creative communities. Understand how their workflows are changing and identify behaviors that point toward the next major product opportunity.
  • Own products end to end. Move from ambiguous problem to prototype, launch, measurement, and iteration. Write clearly, prototype, make tradeoffs, and keep work moving without waiting for perfect information.
  • Build tight learning loops. Define what success looks like, build eval frameworks, work closely with Data Science, and use real product behavior to improve both the experience and the models behind it.
  • Shape how products reach the market. Partner with Engineering, Growth, Marketing, and Support on positioning, launches, education, and distribution. The way a new AI capability is explained and introduced is often part of the product itself.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing Product team. Manage, mentor, and develop Product Managers, setting a high bar for product judgment, execution, and craft
Requirements
  • 5+ years of product management experience, or 8+ years of experience in roles that build exceptional product judgement (founder, early-stage operator, product marketer, growth leader, etc.)
  • Experience managing and mentoring Product Managers. You've directly managed PMs, helped them develop stronger product judgment and execution, and know how to raise the bar while giving people the ownership and support to grow.
  • Deep fluency in generative media. You actively use and study the latest video, image, audio, and multimodal products. You understand where the space is today, have opinions about where it is heading, and can separate durable shifts from short-lived novelty.
  • Hands-on experience with AI. You have prototyped or shipped using modern models and tools. You understand their capabilities and failure modes through direct experience-not solely from managing a roadmap around them.
  • Strong Cross functional leadership. You understand how to influence and work effectively across product, engineering, and executive stakeholders, bringing different perspectives together to drive decisions
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity. You thrive in fast moving environments, can turn loosely defined problems into clear priorities and create structure.
  • Strong technical and product communication. You can engage deeply with technical teams, understand technical constraints and tradeoffs, and translate complex ideas into clear product decisions.
  • A point of view on the future of product management. You've thought deeply about how AI has changed the PM function over the last few years and have a perspective on what great product management will look like in the near future.
Benefits:
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans
  • 401K with employer match
  • Commuter Benefits
  • Catered lunch multiple days per week
  • Dinner stipend every night if you're working late and want a bite!
  • Grubhub subscription
  • Health & Wellness Perks
  • Multiple team offsites per year with team events every month
  • Generous PTO policy
