Full Job Description
Medium and large firms (5 to 99 employees, roughly 30,000 US firms, about $3B in Intuit revenue) are our top-priority segment. They have the biggest right to win and the largest growth prospects: their SMB and mid-market client mix positions them to drive both new-subscriber growth and Intuit suite revenue. They are also under pressure, from a wave of AI-native entrants moving down-market and from a satisfaction relationship that needs repair.

We are seeking a Group Manager, Product Marketing to own the go-to-market strategy for this segment and lead a team of four. This is a rare dual mandate. You are accountable for how we serve these firms directly, with Intuit Accountant Suite (IAS), our AI-native operating platform built specifically for accounting firms, and for how we win through the products they put in front of their clients: QuickBooks Online, our Money offerings, and Intuit Enterprise Suite.

As the PMM leader for this segment, you own the Strategy Package the whole organization executes from, you bring buyer and competitive signal into product planning before decisions are made, and you are accountable for the business results of the plan. You will turn a deep understanding of how medium and large firms actually work into positioning, narrative, and go-to-market that lands, building the accountant-facing story across our full portfolio, not product by product. You will do this as an AI-native leader: using AI to raise the altitude of the work, and building a team that works the same way.

Responsibilities
Lead and grow the team

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of four product marketers; set the bar for craft, prioritization, and outcomes.
  • Act as team leader, strategist, and operator, equally comfortable setting direction and rolling up your sleeves on the work.
Work and lead AI-native

  • Use AI as a genuine force multiplier in the craft of product marketing: compressing research and competitive synthesis, pressure-testing positioning, generating and iterating on messaging and content, and modeling customer segments, so the team operates at a higher altitude than headcount alone would allow.
  • Build and run an AI-native team: set the norms, tooling, and workflows so that using AI to do better work faster is the default, not the exception, and recruit and develop marketers who think this way.
  • Bring an insider's fluency in what AI is doing to the accounting profession, the same shift IAS is built for, so our positioning reflects how firms actually adopt and govern AI rather than a surface-level pitch.
Own the segment Strategy Package

  • Own the complete, current, channel-ready PMM Strategy Package for the segment: ICP and segmentation (who we target, who we don't, and why), the market and competitive landscape, the positioning document and value proposition, and the messaging framework that channel teams write from.
  • Build the accountant-facing positioning for our client products (QuickBooks Online, Money, Intuit Enterprise Suite), not just the client-facing story, so firms understand what our portfolio does for their practice, not only their clients.
  • Set the strategic direction that Lifecycle, Growth, Brand, Comms, Web, and Paid Media execute from, so channel teams can write on-message without coming back to PMM.
Coordinate one integrated strategy across products

  • When IAS and the client products (QuickBooks Online, Money, Intuit Enterprise Suite) reach the same firm, produce one integrated strategy and a single go-to-market brief per segment, not parallel ones, with shared ICP alignment, a coordinated value proposition, and sequenced GTM. Set targets against overall segment revenue goals, not product by product.
Serve firms directly through IAS

  • Position IAS around the jobs medium and large firms actually have: moving the practice toward roughly 70% advisory and 30% transactional, working across every client in one place, portfolio intelligence across the whole book, and AI teammates built for the accountant.
  • Translate the five IAS differentiators (client advisory, portfolio intelligence, trusted action on the real books, verifiable outcomes, deep integrations) into messaging that wins against best-of-breed practice management tools and the AI-native platforms moving down-market.
Win through the channel

  • Drive firm advocacy and attach for QuickBooks Online, Money, and Intuit Enterprise Suite, elevating the benefit of our lineup to the firm's own efficiency, so accountants recommend from conviction.
  • Partner across marketing and sales channels to orchestrate campaigns, events, and content around a consistent narrative.
Ground everything in customer and competitive insight

  • Build the strategy from data, not internal opinion: win/loss, buyer research, activation data, qualitative and quantitative customer insight, and competitive intelligence, rigorous enough to inform the product roadmap and how we go to market.
  • Own a performance measurement plan and track the metrics that ladder to segment outcomes (IAS product-market fit and adoption, firm penetration, accountant NPS and PRS, attach rate, indirect GNS and revenue), continuously improving how we go to market.

Qualifications
WHAT YOU BRING

  • BA/BS or equivalent work experience; MBA a plus.
  • 10+ years in marketing or product marketing, including go-to-market leadership, with experience managing and developing a team.
  • Full-stack product marketer who translates market, product, and customer insight into positioning, messaging, and go-to-market that ships.
  • A full-stack, inbound-and-outbound product marketer: rigorous on the research and analysis that shapes strategy, and creative on translating it into positioning, messaging, and go-to-market direction channel teams execute from.
  • Demonstrated fluency using AI to do real work, not curiosity about AI but a track record of using it to raise the quality and speed of marketing output, and building teams that do the same.
  • Excellent storytelling and executive communication, with the ability to align diverse teams and senior leaders around a shared narrative.
  • Track record of principled, data-based decisions and ownership of measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong cross-functional influence without direct authority, comfortable with ambiguity and fast movement.
  • Familiarity with accounting or tax software, B2B SaaS, ERP or financial management, or the accountant and partner channel a plus.
